A Prótese Removível consiste na reabilitação oral, através da substituição de dentes em falta numa arcada, usando uma prótese dentária removível. Como o próprio nome indica, esta prótese pode ser retirada facilmente da boca sempre que o paciente entender, ao contrário das próteses fixas que funcionam como os dentes naturais permitindo um maior conforto e uma melhor qualidade de vida.

Em situações de ausência de alguns dentes apenas, e em que os dentes em boca são saudáveis, pode optar-se por uma prótese parcial removível, acrílica, flexível ou metálica, que se pode apoiar nos dentes naturais.
